Delete your Aeroscribe data

This page explains how to delete data related to the Aeroscribe app, published on Google Play by Aeroscribe LLC. Aeroscribe has no accounts, so there is no account to delete.
Data on your tablet
Your settings (callsign, local names and switches), test logs with transcripts, and any audio recordings you chose to save are stored only on your tablet. To delete them:
- Open your tablet's Settings, then Apps, then Aeroscribe, then Storage, and tap Clear storage; or
- Uninstall Aeroscribe.
Either one deletes all of this data immediately. We never receive it, so nothing else needs to be done.
Data you sent us
If you emailed us feedback or shared test logs with us, you can ask us to delete them:
- Email admin@aeroscribe.com with the subject "Delete my data".
- Send it from the email address you used to contact us, so we can find your messages.
We delete your emails, any test logs and audio recordings you sent, and your email address from our records within 30 days, and reply to confirm. We keep nothing afterwards, unless the law requires us to, in which case we tell you what we kept and for how long.
Speech recognition
Aeroscribe uses your tablet's own speech recognition service (on most Android tablets, Google's) to turn audio into text. We do not receive or keep this audio. Any processing by that service is covered by its provider's privacy policy and settings.
